As most of you know, Wendy formed this meetup group some years ago and has done an absolutely fantastic job running it and making it the amazingly friendly group that it is today.
I think a lot of us would agree that it has bought us lots of new experiences and some really lovely important new friends.
Sadly Wendy has decided to step down as organiser and asked for volunteers to run it. I've stepped in...I might get things a bit muddled with the app sometimes, but I'm hoping that we can continue to build new friendships and carry on enjoying a good social life with this group.
As you might be aware, Meetup charge a fee twice yearly. So the annual subscription fee of £5 is a massively important part of keeping it going. Without it, the whole thing would just cease completely.

I think you will agree that a fiver is nothing considering the great social life you can get with it....a bargain I'd say 😉 these days you can barely get a coffee for a fiver! 😂
