Not long ago someone I know needed help caring for their service dog and I tried to find an organization that could lend a hand. I found help eventually, but it wasn't easy. How can it be that there is so little for dogs that give so much? That needs to change.
If you feel the same, please join us. This group is about volunteering time for dogs in need. I hope this will grow into something meaningful for the man's best friend. Everyone needs a hand or paw up every once in a while.
The app suggests that I indicate who should join. Pretty much anyone who believes in supporting dogs is very welcome. And if you work with dogs in any capacity that would be extremely helpful. Anyone who is well versed in laws to protect animals would be invaluable. This is still in its early stages, so I hope to have members that can bring new ideas and open to hearing new ideas.
