Do you ever get the urge to strike up a conversation with a stranger but always back out at the last minute? Picture this: You’re going to drink some beer/wine , and you happen to meet a friendly stranger there and you quickly become friends. Well, that's exactly what this is.
Just show up with your book, journal, coloring book, knitting—anything, or nothing at all—and get ready to chat with some friendly strangers. The idea is to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where the outgoing, shy, and everyone in between can find their own rhythm and make new connections.
To be able to create an intimate/non-intimidating setting, we are limiting the event to 20 people, so please only RSVP if you are sure you will attend. If you change your mind, change your RSVP to ‘Not going’ so someone else can take your spot.
The goal here is to make new friends, so don’t approach this as a dating event. We don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable, so please be respectful of others. No harassment or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
