Ring Making from Bent Wood

Instructor Bio:
I’m Joel, the teacher for this class. I began learning to make rings as a way to give more personal gifts to people then began to sell them as well. I love to give people new skills and see them get excited and be creative with it.

Description:
In this class you will learn how to

• Size rings
• Bend wood on to a form
• Seal with it without making bubbles
• Shape with sanding and file
• Create a high polish finish

The class will use a mini lathe for speed but it is not needed for making your own rings at home.

You will take home:

• 1 finished wood ring (you make) other

Safety:
For this class we encourage you to bring safety glasses. If you do not have your own we have supplies onsite for purchase.
