We will go over the best use practices to extend the life of the machines as much as possible and make the most of each print.
-The resin printers print at a slower rate for the size, cost more for materials, have a smaller print bed, and require more after care than a standard 3D filament printer
-MSL will charge for each print by the amount of resin used as recorded by the machine
-While there are upsides to using a resin printer as opposed to a regular filament printer, please contact @Jellymeyer on slack if you have any questions if this course is right for you.
We'll also cover:
+Safety and damage avoidance
+Our printer configuration files: where to get them, how to use them
+Rules and regulations
+Setup, settings, and cleanup
Please note that this class does not cover the use of the FDM 3D printers.
This certification is in the MSL Prototyping Lab
Every 2 weeks on Sunday until December 28, 2024
