It is likewise an amazing TWENTY FIVE YEARS since I personally started started organising walks and weekends away and still going strong, this year with 17 weekends away and over a hundred Peak District walks!"

The lovely Mount Snowdon is clearly an old favourite so we have made this the focus of one of our usual weekends away with a number of walk options over 3 days and a celebration theme.

As we have already had a number of people ask if they could just come for one night we have now made this an option as shown here.

Our intention is to meet at YHA Snowdon Ranger anytime from 9:30am on Saturday and depart at 10:30am up the Snowdon Ranger path from right outside the front door. This path avoids the crowds and lack of parking of the Pyg track and the scary drops of the Rhyd Ddu and Watkins paths so offers something for everyone.

We'll return to afternoon tea and celebration cake with evening meal and party to follow.

Sunday you can start your day with a wild swim in the icy waters of Llyn Cwellyn or just chill over a relaxed breakfast with the option of a further great Snowdonia walk such as Carnedd Llewellyn which is the second highest peak in Wales.

YHA Snowdon Ranger is situated on the Beddgelert to Caernarfon road but is in an isolated spot with no pub or shops nearby so any drinks required need to be brought with you.

The charge for the event including accommodation and food is just £49 payable when you book, to which must be added Meetup booking fees. You can also pay by BACS without the booking fee but please tell us if you are doing this so we can manually add you to the event attendee list.
