What we’re about
Welcome to our warm and inclusive sewing circle, where both experienced seamstresses and enthusiastic newbies come together to share their love for sewing. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just picking up a needle for the first time, our community is here to support and inspire you.
Each month, we feature a new sewing project that caters to all skill levels. This allows everyone to learn, practice, and create something beautiful together. Throughout the year, we engage in community service projects that allow us to give back while practicing our skills. We have received generous donations of materials specifically for these projects, so you don't need to bring your own. For personal projects, we encourage you to bring your choice of fabric and any specific materials you need. This ensures your creations are exactly as you envision them.
If you own a sewing machine, please bring it along to our gatherings. Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine. We have a few extra machines available for participants to use. Simply let us know in advance so we can ensure one is ready for you.
Our sewing gatherings are held on the first Monday of each month at the Santa Clara, Texas City Hall at 7 pm. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn new techniques, share your progress, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sewing enthusiasts. Whether you're here to teach or learn, your presence enriches our group's dynamic.
