What we’re about
CoCo County Social Club is a social hang out group for people in Contra Costa County and the surrounding areas. The main goal of the group is for people to get out of the house, meet new people and have a good time. A lot of our events do include some element of drinking so we do require that members be of legal drinking age. Besides that, anyone looking for a good time is welcome. A list of our regular types of events are: game nights at bars, dancing, movie nights, theme parks, beach trips, hiking, picnics/potlucks, pub crawls, mini golf, lazer tag, etc. We are very open minded about the types of events that we do and willing to try new types of events. If you have a suggestion for an event, feel free to post it in the discussions. If an event organizer likes the idea, it might happen. We want everyone to have a fun time in a safe, inclusive environment. To that point, we are not a singles group. We understand that there are a lot of single people in the group and romantic connections might happen, but we politely ask that you do not make it a goal while attending our events. We don't want any member to feel uncomfortable at an event, so please keep such activities outside of the group. Any questions or concerns, feel free to contact an organizer.
