What we’re about
Starting this group for anyone in the Martinsville area who would like to read their bible more, and meet others who want to do the same. Even if you have your doubts and have never read the bible before you are welcome to join. The bible has over 40 authors and was written over a period of 2000 or more years, and is a collection of some of the most amazing literature and doctrine ever written. I do believe that by applying the truths found within mankind can almost eliminate many of the problems in this world.
This not a study group, per-se, unless the members wish for it to become one. I certainly have my own convictions about the bible, which I am eager to share, but that can also happen in separate personal studies. My aim with this group is to encourage folks from various backgrounds to join up and read the bible together. We'll just read for as long as our time slot allows, and simply resume where we left off at the following meetup. Please consider joining us if you can.
