What we’re about
There is a universe of games of astounding depth and wonder beyond the gates of Ticket to Ride, Splendor, and Carcassonne. This is a place to discover, share, and enjoy those depths.
Some examples are 7 Wonders, Xenon Profiteer, Clank!, Airlines: Europe, Pulsar 2849, Brass, Sorcerer City, Xia, Dominant Species, and Star Wars: Rebellion. On average you can expect games to take 2 hours, especially if teaching new players, but certain games like Brass and Star Wars: Rebellion will take 3 or more hours, and certain games like Xenon Profiteer, Star Realms, and Queendomino should take less than one.
If you like learning and sharing games and want to plumb the depths of the board game universe, then I think you'll enjoy this group. If you're looking to play Scrabble, Cards Against Humanity, Ticket to Ride, or their ilk, you will be most disappointed.
