Welcome to Austin's Meditation Community! This group is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals interested in meditation, and living a happier and more peaceful life. We also explore topics such as spiritual guidance, leadership, accountability, and Buddhist Sangha interests.
Austin's Meditation Community is run by Brandon Mehrgut. He's the founder of Modern Mindfulness and an avid meditation practitioner.
Our intention in creating this group & movement is to give folks a space to meditate that's professional and also open to deep insight.
We've found folks who identify as professionals often don't have a space for learning meditation. Sometimes the scene is "too spiritual" or meditation isn't framed in the right way.
If you're interested in Spiral Dynamics, the type of person this group is for: Orange/Green & Teal (Integral).
Our view is to portray a meditative community that sees meditation as a tool for better success in life, and at the same time - a gateway to something profoundly deeper that can not be put into words.
We hope to see you at our future events, and deeply appreciate your consideration for joining.

3 to 3:50 pm Public Session: Donation Based & Open to The Public
-25-Minute Meditation: Start with a guided meditation led by Brandon to release stress, get grounded, and sink into the moment. Afterward, enjoy some peaceful silence.
-This week you'll be guided in concentration practice, at the intermediate level. Learning to calm the mind with eyes open.
-Community Check-Ins: After the meditation you can share your experience, connect, and hear from others.
-Stretch It Out: A quick 10-minute guided stretch to reset your body and keep things comfy.

**4 to 4:30pm Meditation Class: 16-Week Meditation Training, (You can sign up in person on)
-25-Minute Meditation Training: Learn essential techniques to start, deepen, or refresh your meditation practice. Perfect for all experience levels!
-Q&A with Brandon: Get your questions answered by a meditation teacher with 10+ years teaching experience and 20 years meditation practice.
-After Class: Stick around afterward to chat and hang out with the group.
New to Meditation? No stress! Weâll give you a quick intro to get you started.

What to Bring:
Bring a meditation cushion or something comfy to sit on. Weâve got a padded floor, but a cushion can make a big difference!

Recommended Contribution:
We recommend $20 to help support our nonprofit mission, but give what you can! Your generosity keeps these weekly public classes going and helps us share meditation with more people.
