Meditation on the parts of the body and the elements

And more...
The class is taught by monks trained in the Theravada Buddhist Tradition. All of the techniques we teach in this class are simple, useful, and down-to-earth. Don't be nervous if you've never been to a monastery or meditation Centre before. The atmosphere at the monastery is peaceful, welcoming, and very friendly.
The Buddha Meditation Centre of Greater Toronto is part of the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery (pronounced maha-may-oo-NA-wa). We've been at our present location in north Markham since 2008 and have over 500 individual members from all across the GTA. If you are interested in learning about the Buddha's teachings, you may also want to check out our weekly Dhamma talk in our other meetup group, Friday-Dhamma talk, and devotional service.
