**A Note to Group Members**
*We are moving off the Meetup platform at the end of **April 2025***, we will instead use the up-and-coming **[Aftergame](https://aftergame.co)** as our main Event scheduling, social platform. Aftergame allows us to create a social group, schedule events, plan games at those events and to have online conversations about any of those items. Here's a [direct invitation](https://app.aftergame.co/group?id=a4fc4a95-e21e-4802-abe7-486f4c7f7681) to our Meeple of Basingstoke group on Aftergame. Aftergame is iOS or Android only, though you can visit the website to see the Group and its current schedule of events, as well as download the app for free (via the appropriate "App store")

We are also investing in a website (you can see an early preview [here](https://boardgamers.wixsite.com/meepleofbasingstoke)). In the longer term this website will provide event schedules and RSVP, a photos gallery (a feature currently missing on Aftergame), and a Members Area, along with a discussion forum. The website has a linked App ("Spaces", by Wix), which also provides members with RSVP and Chat (and will provide photo uploads in a future release)

*Please note: we are running a post-MOBCON promo session fee of £5 per person. At this time we are not able to offer a "free first session", hopefully having been able to MOBCON for free will count!*

Bring along a game that you want to play or come and join in with a game brought by somebody else (don't worry if you don't know the game, we'll be happy to teach it to you). If you want to be involved in a discussion (or even some banter) about what you would like to play (whether you are bringing the game, or you want somebody else to do so) please post in the comment section below or use Meetup's "Event Chat" button.

We meet at Chineham Christ Church, Basingstoke; our what3words is [///spit.solve.ears](https://w3w.co/spit.solve.ears). As you come in through the main entrance to the Church, the William Tyndale Room is found to the right, then upstairs. We're very sorry, but the William Tyndale Room is *not* wheelchair accessible.

*Please note that under-eighteens must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while under-sixteens may only attend by prior arrangement*

**Session fees are £5 per person, in cash, on the door**; the session fee also gives you access to the kitchen for free tea, coffee and soft drinks. On site parking is also free.
