Last year Mari hosted a wonderful Christmas party in her beautiful home and she has graciously invited us back this year. Thank you Mari.
So, Let's begin the Christmas Season by celebrating with a potluck luncheon at the beautiful home of Mari in Lithia on Sunday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. The address will be provided to those who are attending at a later date. When you RSVP to attend, please list the dish you plan to bring under comments on our site. Examples: scallop potato, wild rice, vegetables, salad, etc. I will bring a Honey Baked Ham.
We will have a "White Elephant Gift Exchange" with a $20.00 gift maximum. This is always a lot of fun. Each person brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool. Players draw numbers to determine what order they will go in. The first player selects a gift from the pool and opens it. The following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player's gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same - choose a new gift or steal from someone else. This continues until everyone has a gift. It is a lot of fun.
Let's continue the tradition of wearing red.
Be sure to list your dish when you RSVP so we will not have duplicates.
As always, when we meet in someone's home we will leave it as clean as it was when we arrived, so be prepared to help clean up afterward.
