New Years Eve moonlight Snow Shoe TENTATIVE

It will be a hike there is no snow

Looks like a waxing cresent so not a big bright fulll moon

Meet at ther south lot at 6:30 pm

Hike max 6 kms Go to the fire pit Have a big fire roast the meat or vegan substitue of your choice Have a warm beverage or two. Have a few laughs tell some lies. Count down the new year say cheers to the new year in light of the moon and the company of old and new friends. Then hike back to the cars (~3 km) and home

As an option we may bring the new year in early so we arent out until zero dark thirty

It will a 3/4 waning moon. That should be plenty of light i should think though you should have a headlamp
