What we’re about
Sometimes you want to climb K2, sometimes you just want to read about it.
This is a book club for those of us who love to read about true life tales of exploration, adventure, and survival against all odds. Think searching for a lost civilization in the jungle, eating hardtack on an iceberg for an entire winter, and enduring a summit climb gone horribly wrong.
- 1 book every 6 weeks
- We meet in person at TBD- Anyone know a good coffee shop or brewery to hold our meets at?
- Ideal members have an open mind, love reading so much that you'll enjoy discussing a book even if you didn't like it that much, and are self-aware enough to know when to stop talking and relinquish the floor to someone else.
- Ongoing list of possible reads- add your own nominations: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vd3xMst24czvtoIYePGp9-tzmmX12zy5FHfFEm527Eo/edit?usp=sharing
