We will park in the parking lot north of Old Elm Road. We will cross Sheridan Road into the preserve. There are several trails in the preserve. We will find the trail that takes us to the lake and return on the same route. I have hiked this trail before with others, but have not led this hike on my own. So come and join me on this walking adventure in Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve. Hiking distance, approximately 3.6 miles.
