### 30th Burning the Clocks

Hello everyone!

We’re thrilled to invite you to the 30th annual Burning the Clocks
celebration in Brighton this December. This magical event brings the vibrant city together to celebrate the shortest day of the year with creativity and community spirit.

They crafted beautiful paper and willow lanterns, and parade through the city streets, culminating in a spectacular bonfire on Brighton Beach.

It’s a sight you don’t want to miss!

**Burning the Clocks** is a free, unticketed public event, open to everyone.

This year's theme is **Voyager**.

To mark this special milestone, we’re reflecting on our own journeys, inspired by Carl Sagan’s timeless words: ​

*"Everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives, on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam."*

**Meetup Fee:** £3
**Event Details:**

* **Procession Start:** 6:30 PM at New Road near the Pavilion and Brighton Dome
* **Bonfire & Fire Show:** Around 7:30 PM at Kemptown Beach

We will meet at: **Brighton i360** ( and head to 15 Kensington Gardens, Brighton, BN1 4AL together.

Brighton i360 is situated on Brighton beach at the site of the historic West Pier and opposite Regency Square, postcode **BN1 2LN**.
