What we’re about
This group is for the Girls*—specifically, twenty-something and thirty-something Girls in or near the East Bay who are looking to have fun and make new, meaningful friendships through laughter, exploration, and conversation.
The events will vary based on the interests of the Girls. Do the Girls enjoy wine and cheese? Let’s have a BYOW+C pairing at the park. Are the Girls hooked on Love Is Blind? Let’s host a watch party. Sip and paint? Yoga? Hikes? Vinyl listening parties? Bar crawls? Salsa dance classes? Let’s do it all. The goal of For the Girls is to create a welcoming space where fun and friendships can bloom.
(*2 things - anyone who identifies as a Girl is warmly welcomed to join the group; my use of Girl is in no way meant to be reductive of our agency)

When? November 19, 2024 and every other Tuesday thereafter, unless otherwise canceled
What Time? Meet at 7 am in order to start walking by 7:15 am
Where? Hayward Regional Shoreline (the address is 3050 West Winton Ave., Hayward, CA 94545)
Length of the Walk and Pace? 3 miles round trip at a brisk power walk paceI’d like to operate on a “No Girl Left Behind” policy for these walks. So, to avoid starting without anyone, please submit an RSVP using this form.
The form is set up so that you can submit a response for each biweekly walk on the same form. If you have any issues, you can always send me a message here on Meetup.Extra Deets
- A nice warm cup of coffee is guaranteed at the start of each walk. Please BYOC.
- This activity is suitable for folks at any fitness level.
- The Hayward Regional Shoreline tends to get windy so please consider layering up.
