What we’re about
This group is for a world of friends living the odyssey of curiosity. We help each other with what’s physical or metaphysical, normal or paranormal, psychic or psychological, ordinary or extraordinary, divine or individual, philosophical or phunny or fun. Join if you feel fine or undefined. Join if you feel helpless or helpful. Join if you feel free to feel free.
Odyssey Of Curiosity is on Facebook.

We share equally. Attend, cohost, or host. Create meetup events. Suggest topics for instruction or discussion. Consider the pranic ideas in my acronym BEDREST: breathing, eating, drinking, relaxing, exercising, sensing, thinking. I [JP], being administrator and organizer, provide accountability and responsibility. We’re guided by providential rules.
The group rules follow. Familiarization, not memorization.
** 1. First, let’s help.
— We raise awareness to any emergency, safety, or priority concern.
— We act honorably for others. We act honestly for ourselves.
— We are each expert of our own experience.
** 2. Let’s travel moments together.
— We respect the privilege of respectful privacy.
— On journeys through our lives, we cross paths on journeys of others' lives. Journeys exchange paths. Paths change in journeys.
— We complement complaints with compliments. Nice?
** 3. Let’s be clair in imagination.
— Views here are absolutely relative and relatively absolute. Nobody has the exact same view yesterday, today, tomorrow. This view can change.
— Views here equal opinions. Opinions do not equal any professional level of help or healing. Opinions here are not a diagnosis nor a cure nor any sort of actual paid medical or legal recommendation. Please seek certified and validated professionals as needed.
— Views of each person here might not be aligned with admin or event host or participating group. And still, views change.
** 4. Let’s keep learning eventually.
— In all events types, heed the structure and edicts of the social media platform, and heed the directions of the host(s).
— There is no recording any part of any event without admin authorization. Take screenshots only as allowed by host and anyone involved, preferably without personal information or images.
— Enjoy.
** 5. Let’s take care what we wish for.
— Last, together may we be enriched with enlightenment or entertainment or both as an endeavor entwined with enchantment.
Five Learning Ways—to trust, enliven, and grow in comfort. Familiarize.
- Labels. Labels are words. Words are like the encompassing winds, steady or changing, tumultuous or calm. A single word can mean many things. Many words can mean just one thing. More meanings can be meaningless. Words have beginnings in what our thoughts and moods need, and they need to support our ideas and emotions to the end. As labels, words might be less like surprise gifts and more like price tags—buyer beware. We use labels, while we choose friends.
- Levels. Levels are both earthy and heavenly. Consider math from simplicity to complexity. (numbers. counting. integers. zero. negative numbers. imaginary numbers. equations. addition. subtraction. multiplication. division. exponents. logarithms. graphs. algebra. geometry. trigonometry. differential calculus. Integral calculus.) Levels are building blocks—maybe an ancient pyramid, maybe a modern skyscraper, maybe a spiraling space station, maybe a cozy cottage.
- Limitations. Limitations are companions to levels. Levels involve us, limitations evolve us. Levels are what we can do, limitations are what we can’t do. We can’t do what we don’t know, whether we know we don’t know, or whether we don’t even know that we don’t know. Together levels and limitations help us develop to more levels and greater limitations. And into living beautiful lives.
- Localities. Localities are mundane and ethereal. Levels and limitations are about how we do magical or everyday things. Localities are everything about how we are every day in the world of myth and mechanics and mayhems and magic. Who. What. When. Where. Why. Each. Connecting. All.
- Luck. Luck flickers whimsically like a comet or a constellation upon the rippling surface of unsettled water. As luck would have it, there’s having good luck or bad luck, being in luck or out of luck, feeling lucky or unlucky. What is luck? The what-just-happened wonder that is unimaginable or unfathomable or ineffable—that is what gets the label of luck. Thank your lucky stars for luck.
