Lake Serene

Join us for a moderately hard 8.2 mile hike with 2000 feet of elevation gain. The snow shouldn't be too bad, but be sure to wear good boots and dress in warm layers. If it is actively snowing or raining we may only hike to Bridal Veil Falls which cuts the hike by more than half.

Please RSVP so we can coordinate carpools. We will plan to arrive at the trailhead by 9:30am. The trail takes 5-7 hours (usually with a buffer for time at the lake but probably not this time since it will be cold.) We will try to be cautious and keep a good pace so that we can make it back to the trailhead before sunset.
