Lysterfield Monthly Dawn wake up social ride + coffee/breakfast

• What we'll do
Let's go for an easy social wake up ride around Lysterfield MTB Park. And if you want an after ride coffee + breakfast at the new cafe Stella's Kitchen near the car park.

ORCA Rating B2. Good for beginners. Relaxed for advanced.

Meeting Point: Main MTB Mahoganny Carpark on the right hand side, just OUTSIDE or INSIDE the Main Gates at Lysterfield Lake Park, accessed via Horsewood Road. Turn right at either the first roundabout before the gates or at the second one after the gates. I'll be colour coordinated black & red with a black giant bike near the touristy sign.

The Route: We will be riding an anticlockwise basic circuit of about 16.5kms which shouldn't take more than 2 hours. I might add Follow Me, Aneurysm or Comm Games tracks if there are no beginners and people are interested.

Type of Bike Required: MTB dually or hard tail. A downhill bike is not suitable for this ride.

I'll have first aid too if anyone needs it.

I'll check the weather on Saturday and if it's going to be raining hard or stinking hot on Sunday morning then I'll cancel the event and let everyone know.

Riders are reminded that this is a social event and that all riders participate at their own risk and acknowledge that bike riding can be a dangerous activity. Appropriate clothing, nutrition/fluid and protective wear should be carried/worn at the discretion of all riders.

• What to bring
Clothing suitable for sweating and getting dirty on a bike (you'll warm up in the first 5 minutes of riding), water, snacks & a standard ride kit (spare tube, repair kit, etc). A water bottle should suffice; there is a toilet block half way to refill if needed.

I'll be colour coordinated black & red with a black giant bike at the touristy sign.
