Let’s start the new year with a sunrise hike. We’ll hike to the summit and explore the surroundings.

Free parking. ARRIVE EARLY AS PARKING IS LIMITED. Park at the base of Arabia Mountain and AWARE at 4158 Klondike Road, Stonecrest, GA

We’ll meet at the trailhead.

Distance: 1-2 mi

Difficulty: Easy

What to bring:

• High-protein and/or high-carb snacks (trail mix, mixed nuts, granola bars) for fuel.

• 40-80 oz. of water

• Phone (emergencies, pictures, etc)

• Flashlight

• Warm layers as necessary

My hiking style is slow and steady, making frequent stops to take pictures and soak in nature.
