Taylor Cabin Trail - 7 miles of PSYCHO Terrain

Hello Psycho Hikers!,
What can I say about this hike? First off, getting there is an adventure in an of itself. 90 minutes from Flagstaff on all dirt road with the last few miles being high clearance vehicles only. Second, this hike is not long and is about 1800 ft in elevation gain. The miles and elevation gain do not accurately depict this hike. This hike has some bushwhacking, route finding, scrambling, exposure, trail washouts, overgrown parts etc... I think you get the picture.
It's more of an adventure than a hike. If you look at the attached pictures you'll see why we are doing this. Think mini grand canyon and Zero people. It's the most remote hike in the Flagstaff and Sedona Areas.
Sedona folks will come in through 535 and
Flagstaff folks will meet at the South Home Depot(1325 W Rte 66) and carpool from there. Meet at the Home Depot at 9am.

Everybody should have a map on their phone or a paper map of this trail. Every effort will be made to keep people together as a group, however you should be prepared to be able to navigate in the event that you get separated from the group. The organizer is not responsible for your safety.

Please bring lots of water, snacks, appropriate hiking shoes, hiking poles if desired, sunscreen, a rain shell, and a good hiking spirit.
The Pledge Donation button that you see goes towards the fees for the meetup site. It costs about $225 per year to use the meetup website and keep the group going. Any excess money received over that amount will be used on a BBQ/party outing for the group.
