Anxiety and Depression Skills - Group Meeting
Details
Meeting to learn cognitive behavioral techniques to manage your symptoms of anxiety and depression is held at Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch of Burnaby Public Library at 6100 Willingdon Ave 200 meters west of the Metrotown Skytrain Station. Go to the Second Floor Librarian for directions to the Meeting Room. The group is a safe non-judgmental place to share and learn new skills in a confidential setting. Sharing is encouraged but never required. There is free underground parking. You don't need to bring anything, reading materials are provided. On the attendance sheet write down your email address- materials will be sent to you via email. You may want to bring a pen and notebook if you would like to take notes.

Mutual Aid - general discussion
Meeting is open to men and women with or without a mental health diagnosis. Meeting room is open at 6 pm, meeting officially starts at 615 pm and ends at 7:45 pm. Washrooms are available at the library. Meeting is free, a voluntary donation to cover costs is appreciated. If having a problem finding the meeting call Gordon's cell at 778-833-3924.
