New Years Eve @ Medici!!

Happy New Years everyone!! It's already time for us to plan our NYE event. Hope everyone's 2024 has been great, and that 2025 will be even better. Just a quick note, keep an eye on the start time/other details closer to the day of the event. We're working with the venue's staff on details. If anything major changes we'll post a comment :)

If you've been a long time member of our group, you're likely surprised by the location this year. In the past we've kicked off the new year at Ogies Trailer Park on the West End of Providence. However, as their event as gotten bigger, their lack of bathrooms has been a common complaint from many of members. We decided to go in a different direction this year so people don't spend half of NYE in line for the bathroom.

Medici is a brand new nightclub venue that recently opened on Friendship Street just down the street from Freeplay and Coliseum. For fellow veterans of the Providence nightlife scene, the building was once Club Ultra. It's a large venue that offers one hell of a dance floor complete with lightshows and smoke. Their sound system is fantastic, and they book top notch DJs to dance the night away. They also have a large bar, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find a spot to grab a drink. There are side areas away from the dance floor that may be open to general admission, but we're still working out the kinks with their team so we can't promise.

Most important, they have large bathroom facilities! haha Bathroom lines shouldn't be a problem lol

Many of the bars in area have been increasing their NYE ticket prices, but Medici has been nice enough to offer us a $10.00 door charge which is a steal for the area.

We'll stake out a spot in the club, if one isn't provided to us by the staff, and post our location for everyone to find us at the start of the event. Again please keep an eye out on the posting for changes closer to the day, we're still talking to their staff. Let's have fun dancing in the new year! :D
