Details

For our upcoming hike, we’ll be heading back to the Alameda and Bachechi Open Space Walk. This is a 1.3-mile loop trail rated as easy, located at Alameda Open Space. It has a minimal elevation gain of 3 feet and an estimated time of 22 minutes, though our pace will likely take us between 30 and 45 minutes. This hike is dog-friendly and considered an easy walk, perfect for a relaxing evening outdoors.

As a reminder, since we’ll be hiking in the dark, please bring a flashlight. The forecast shows a temperature of 39 degrees, so if you’re sensitive to the cold, you might want to skip this one. If you’re joining, make sure to dress warmly and in layers—Albuquerque often feels warmer than the temperature suggests. And, of course, remember to bring water to stay hydrated.
