Digital Sustainability: The growing impact of digital on the environment

What's common between the Internet and the airline industry? Unfortunately, it's their greenhouse emissions. The carbon footprint of the Internet and the systems supporting it account for about 3.7% of global greenhouse emissions. That is similar to the amount produced by the airline industry globally.

In November's Tech Meetup, we'll have a short presentation on how the internet and all of its data is impacting the environment and what we, as technology professionals, can do. As always, we're here to socialize and have some drinks! There will be lots of time for that too!
