Cound Circular

An easy 5+ mile walk, with just a few stiles. Terrain is mainly footpaths through woods and fields. We start at the guildhall (SY5 6EW) where there is only limited parking but there is additional parking on the side roads near the church. The route circles through woods towards Harnage and passes the Riverside Inn on the main road where we can have a post-walk drink if needed. As usual, bring a drink and a snack for a stop on the way.
The route undulates but there are no worrisome ascents or descents.

Cound is approximately 6 miles SE of Shrewsbury, just off the A458 Bridgnorth road. Turn left for the church at the war memorial. Park in the Guildhall car park at the side of the church. This is one of our favourite walks.
