Bar Ombre Rooftop (from the team at Salt Meats Cheese) is a taste of traditional Italy with a modern twist. With themed evenings and special insights into Nonna's decades-old recipes, this eatery is serving up much more than delicious plates of tomatoey bliss...

In true Italian style, nothing is rushed. So, savour the evening with some Sicilian mussels, woodfired focaccia or a whole baked brie that oozes pure indulgence. Second is a wonderful mix of freshly made pasta, perfectly tossed pizzas and juicy cuts of meat that'll have you licking your chops long after the plates have been cleared. Slow-cooked lamb ragu crowns a plate of the pappardelle, vegan ravioli is stuffed with jewels of beetroot and the chef's lasagne... well, do we need to say more?
