Spades Night - same partner

Play to 500, partner play, and have blind nils. Either 2 or 3 games, time allotting and then a final, if people want.

Note new start time of 6:15 PM.

We need a minimum 8 players for this event, and I'll only schedule in groups of 4.

27th Spades Night - McMenamins Barley Mill Pub. We now have a standing reservation every second Monday for the front table and space.

If you sign up for this event I absolutely need you to attend, and if you cannot, update your RSVP status at least a day before. I count on groups of 4, as do all attendees.

If you do not know how to play, please make sure to download any free Spades app to your smart phone to familiarize yourself with the game. Newbies are welcome. Please indicate how familiar you are with Spades. Preference will be given to members who know how to play, and there will be a newbie table if necessary.

Spades is complicated. You will be playing with a partner. We will start with games up to 250 and no blind NIL option. Please message me if you prefer playing the the SAME partner, or a different partner each game. If I don't get a response, I will assume you want to play with a different partner for the minimum 3 games you play.

We need a minimum 8 players for this event. I'll be adding people from the waitlist in groups of 4. All I ask if that you confirm, that if you can't make it, please give a minimum 1 day advance notice or more, so that we can be assured of getting multiples of 4. We have to play in groups of four. No shows will not be tolerated. If you sign up for this event, please put it on your calendar and update your RSVP at least a day in advance if you cannot make it.

GAMEPLAY

Each game will have 4 players. Beginners are welcome - please indicate in RSVP whether you know how to play Spades or not.

Please be cognizant that I will do my utmost to have a multiple of four people show, so please do your utmost to show up if you have RSVP'd, as we are counting on you.

Expectation is that we will start shortly after 6:30 PM and play a minimum of 2 games. Please try to be on time.

NO SHOWS

We have had a couple of instances where participants have decided at the last moment to not show. If you decide to not show, it can affect up to 3 other players. Sometimes circumstances make it impossible to show up, I realize our lives are complicated, but if this happens you need to mark your RSVP. Anyone not showing or cancelling day of without a good excuse will be marked as a no show - I'm very sorry for having to state this.
