Opt Outside Hike Potato Creek State Park

We will take a hike through the trails in Potato Creek State Park on Black Friday. Opting outside for a social hike. Potato Creek has an eagle’s nest near by and an osprey nest in the park.
This will be a moderate/fast hike. A few inclines, with clear trails. It may be muddy in spots.
We will meet in the Nature Center parking lot and start on trail 1 behind the playground, then trail 2 and take that over to trail 4, then back to trail 2 and finish one trail 1. This will be around 7 or 8 miles. If you want a shorter hike, you can skip the trail 4 loop and head back on trail 2.
If you have an Indiana state park pass, that will get you in. If not, the entrance fee is $7 in state, $9 out of state. You can met me at the information center, park there and ride in with me. I can take 3 people. Let me know ahead of time.
It does take 5 ish minutes to drive back to the nature center, so plan to give yourself extra time to meet at 11am.
