- Basic Salsa Dance Class with Social DancingUnity of Madison, Madison, WI$10.00
Come for Basic Salsa Dance Class from 3pm to 4pm or come for the social dance from 4pm to 4:30pm. You are also welcome to be present for both. Jeremy Anacker, an enthusiast for this fun social dance style since 2006 will teach and DJ for this event. His teaching style is fun and friendly and is great for the dancer who has little or no experience. Jeremy will also be able to teach intermediate to expert dance techniques when there are more advanced students present.
During the social dance period Salsa music will most likely be the main style that is played while participants can also negotiate to play other types of latin music such as Bachata or Merengue. It is also possible, through group consensus that there would be continued salsa dance lessons or alternative dance lessons in Bachata or Merengue.
