If any of the above describes you, then you are like us. We are the local (Hickory) chapter of Toastmasters International. Toastmasters has been helping people become better speakers and leaders for almost 100 years.
We are a group of women and men of all ages and backgrounds that get together each week to help each other improve our oral communication skills. We are a fun and safe place to practice giving speeches and presentations, to engage in impromptu speaking exercises, to give and receive positive feedback, to work on your leadership skills, and to meet and hang out with others who are doing the same.
Our Toastmasters Club meets every Thursday night at 6:00 in the downtown Hickory area. We highly encourage you to come join us for a meeting to see what it is all about. Why not work on a little self-improvement while meeting some new people.
