Welcome to our meetup!
We are a group of quality single men and women over age 60 who enjoy making friends and interacting. This is not a dating group, though sometimes people do meet "that special someone." Events include happy hours, concerts, movies, dining, dance nights, walks, fundraisers or other charity events, and more.
Acceptance into our group is based on interests and criteria stated as well as who will be a good fit. Membership is up to the discretion of the organizer. We have nearly reached full capacity of members. New membership requests will be approved as space becomes available.
Our rules are as follows:
*Provide your name and last initial.
*You must be single, over age 60, and a resident of the 757 area code.
*Post and maintain a profile photo. No face obscuring items or group photos.
*Do not contact members you have not personally met at a meetup and then do so only with their approval.
*All members must agree to be responsible for their personal safety as well as that of their guests when they attend any public or private events.
*Members will maintain respectful communications between themselves, in any social contact within this meetup, internally on message boards, or in any public or private events arranged by organizers.
*Members must adjust their meetup settings so that they can receive meetup messages as well as private messages from the organizers.
*Abide by the law.
*Members are expected to honor their rsvp by attending events they sign up for unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you are on the wait list, do not show up expecting to sit with the group. Do not bring a plus one without prior approval.
*Members are responsible for paying their own tab.
