Building Relationships - [The Connection Project | Psychology Society]
Details
So you've made a new friend - how do you build the relationship to last through time and the weather of life?
This is part two of the event series Layers of Connection, where we discuss and practice how to create and maintain meaningful interpersonal relationships and connect deeply with others through a delicate balance of introspection, vulnerability, and disclosure.
Inspired by The School of Life's Conversation Menus, I’ve developed a conversation model that gently encourages participants to gradually open up, fostering trust, emotional intimacy, and lasting connections.
The event will have three parts: a presentation, paired conversations, and a post-activity discussion.
Reminder: While we aim to practice vulnerability and create authentic, deeper connections, share only what you're comfortable with. If you feel overwhelmed at any point, don't hesitate to approach me. The Connection Project is an open, safe space that values diversity and fosters a supportive, genuine community.
