I guess at this point after having hosted both a Latin dancing event at Temple of Dance and a swing dancing event at TOSS, I can no longer claim I have never been dancing. I'm still not very good at it though.

These events in the past have worked out really well with having other people in the group to dance and socialize with, but also because a lot of the other class attendees outside of our group are new as well and there are TOSS volunteers around to help anyone, and so it is always fun and a good time, even if you have never been dancing in your life before like I hadn't ever been until I started hosting these! So I encourage anyone that normally wouldn't participate in such an activity to get out of their comfort zone and come out and look like a fool and laugh and have a good time with us!

This dancing event will be Swing dancing at [TOSS: The Oklahoma Swing Syndicate.](https://www.theoklahomaswingsyndicate.org/) They host a beginner Swing dancing lesson on the 1st and 3rd Saturday every month from 7:00pm-7:30pm followed by a social dance from 7:30pm-10:00pm. **The cost for the beginner lesson and social dance is $12, paid at the time of the event.**

We can meet at the church 15 minutes (6:45pm) before the beginner lesson for introductions, and everyone can stay out as late or leave as early as you wish.
