If you’ve been in Tucson awhile, you know that every year the Winterhaven community puts on an amazing light show, complete with cocoa and popcorn! Find free street parking in the nearby neighborhood, then walk over to meet at the “Aguajito Meat Market” at 6:45pm before heading in to walk it together. The festival is free to attend, but attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food or money for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
The Winterhaven neighborhood is bordered by E Prince Rd, N Country Club Rd, E Ft Lowell Blvd, and N Tucson Blvd.
In 2023, the Tucson community donated $31,222 and 37,804 pounds of food to the Food Bank during the Winterhaven Festival!
