Description:
This group is for people ages 17+ with Autism and ADHD who share a love for Nintendo game series and Anime, and occasionally other aspects of Japanese culture such as Godzilla and Ghibli.
The first bunch of sessions will be online through Zoom with hopes to eventually transition into face to face meetups
Meeting Schedule:
Frequency: Fortnightly
Day and Time: Every other Thursday (dates may change depending on availability) at 7:30-8:30pm.
Zoom Meetup Structure:
Introduction (10-15 minutes):
- Welcome and greetings.
- Each participant shares their interests in Nintendo and Anime.
- Brief updates on personal events or interests from the past two weeks.
Main Discussion (40-45 minutes):
- Pre-prepared Questions:
- Host shares a PowerPoint with questions.
- Each slide is decorated, and features a table made of questions, the participants' names, space to record responses.
- Participants can share their own stories and original characters in between. This can include artwork, pieces of writing or anything else they have made!

Break (2 minutes):
- Short break for stretching, getting a drink, etc.
Wrap-Up (5-10 minutes):
- Discuss potential new questions or activities for the next meeting.
Rules:
- Turn-taking: Everyone gets a turn to speak when topic questions are introduced.
- Avoid speaking over each other.
- Respect: No bullying or spamming. Be mindful of everyone's opinions and interests.
- Encouragement: Provide positive feedback on others' ideas and writing. Avoid discouraging comments.
