Let’s do a “boot camp” class!
HIIT/METCON (Metabolic conditioning) is a 45-60 minute workout that combines strength training and cardio exercise to increase your overall fitness level. Each workout will contain moderate-intensity activity, high-intensity activity, or both. This workout provides an intermediate to advanced strength and conditioning workout with quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods. The workout incorporates various weights such as kettlebells and dumbbells. You will build cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance.
Please bring workout clothes, a water bottle, and anything else you need to prepare for this type of workout! This event will be outside, so if you need sunscreen, sun glasses, or anything else, plan ahead.
