Holiday Day Light Tour on Bicycle

Hi all, after much discussion and idea sharing, the Progressive Dinner on Bicycle is here on meetup! This will have elements of potluck, but we'll continue with the conversation to finalize plan. We'll have private conversations as to who will bring what and where. Please do not post personal information here.

The overall plan:
Let's meet at 4pm at the Ukiah City Hall Parking Lot. Dress accordingly. Wear Warm Gloves, Warm layers of jackets, pants, and be prepared for the wind. Rain will change the plan! Decorate your bike with bright colorful lights so that you can be seen by cars! All the rules of the road, apply. Front lights, rear light are required.

The idea is to see the holiday lights on the west side of Ukiah while we, progress from house to house for hor d'oeuvres, (good Wiki article ) and cocktails, then soup, then salad, then main course, then aperitif, then we will for sure end with Adel & Joyce hosting dessert with an outdoor firepit into the night. Some along the way will share singing and guitar playing, and piano playing, and uke playing with favorite holiday and non=holiday songs.

Another great idea is to call it "Safari Supper" with the next location unknown to all until the current host announces the next. The direction we bicycle will depend on our good neighbors in the west side of Ukiah who have decorated their homes. Plan on at least one mile of bike riding between courses. Considering that, as a meetup, we are new to each other, we ask that you come to at least three meetups before attending, or are personal friends with someone who has attended that many. I will share the locations in private messages before the final week. Accommodations will be made for those who need assistance.

If the weather is good, this will be a lot of fun!
