OUR FRIENDLY, BIG (50-70 people, all ages, 18+)LGBTQ SOCIAL GROUP:)

SOCIAL GROUP Meets 4-weekly(usually!), on Tuesday evenings.

A SAFER-SPACE group for LGBTQ people(ONLY), 18+.

Although the venue is LGBTQ-friendly,it is mixed. Our area is semi-separate.

"The Gin Distillery' specialises in -and makes-gin; but has a full selection of alcohol and non-alcohol (soft/hot)drinks of all kinds.

NB There is NO FOOD(except crisps).

We have most of the GROUND FLOOR(there might be a few general customers; but only at the very front of the venue).

I(Steve, Organiser/Host))will be sat by the MAIN FRONT DOOR to welcome you and direct you to our seating area; but only upto 6.45.

After 6.45, there will be a sign:"Meet UP Social Group"

NEWCOMERS; AND WELCOME/INTRODUCTION MEETS:

If you are new,TRY NOT TO BE TOO NERVOUS: Steve(Organiser, see profile pic) will be seated NEXT TO THE MAIN VENUE FRONT DOOR(till 6.45; after that there will be a sign to "meet Up", with an arrow!), to welcome you, and point you to our section.

If you have just come out as lgbtq, or have not been to an lgbtq event before, or to this particular group, we strongly recommend this introduction/welcome meet:)
FIRST INTRODUCTION/WELCOME MEET, at 6.30;so you gently relax into the evening; and chat to a smaller group of people, and share interests:)
The intro meet is not obligatory; but strongly recommended!

SECOND INTRODUCTION/WELCOME MEET AT 6.45/7
*NB RUNNING THE SECOND INTRO MEET DEPENDS ON THE NUMBERS OF FIRST-TIME ATTENDEES (usually 10-20!).;
*SO PLEASE TRY AND ARRIVE, if possible, for the 6.30 Meet.*

If you arrive after BOTH meets, you will be individually warmly welcomed and introduced to people(if you want!) by our hosts:)

There is a (recommended)MINIMUM SPEND OF APPROX £6(TOTAL, for the whole evening)PER PERSON.

You pay, at the bar, directly, per person, per item.NO group bills!

The (recommended)minimum spend is to make it worthwhile for the venue to host us.Any money, therefore, goes direct to the venue, not to our group!
