Details
Populism has arisen periodically throughout history in different ways. It results from a preception of inequality or unfairness, it is marked by the emotion of Schadenfreude. It manifests as a kind of anti elitism which manifests from alienation. It happened in the time of world war 2. It manifests in 2 ways. In the form of nationalism and the form of communism. It usually takes the form of an economic dilemma. We will see how the work of E. F. Schumacher in his classic text Small is Beautiful solves the issue. Schumacher was heavily involved in the post war economic recovery in Germany and Japan. We need to pay special attention to what he has to say. Please bring a donation.
