Philadelphia and Columbia Railroad Urban Hike
Details
Join us for this point to point hike, part of our series to hike along the entire Main Line of Public Works!
We've done a lot of the stuff to the west, but the Philadelphia and Columbia Railroad, because it involves so much road walk, is best suited for the coldest months of the year, in case there's snow.
As of now, undecided whether we'll take the train for the shuttle or just use cars, because it's an easy commute either way.
We'll follow back streets the entire way, through lots and such, trying to trace the exact historic route of the Main Line of Public Works Philadelphia and Columbia Railroad, which deviates from the later Pennsylvania Railroad alignment.
It should be a nice time to be out, with lots of stores and stuff to see along the way. About 15 miles.
