PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE RSVPING AND ATTENDING
The holiday season is approaching very slowly. This time of year can be very difficult for me. As I am getting older, I realize that I am not alone in this struggle. Not only do I want to help my own depression and anxiety during this time of year, but others as well who are experiencing similar battles.
I will make it a point to schedule all kinds of events during this time of the year as the weather gets colder and the days get shorter. As long as my schedule allows, of course. This will be one of the first events that I will be hosting during the holiday season.
The annual Santa Parade is one of such events that, in recent years, I have discovered thanks to my friend Kevin, who is the main organizer of the Boston Bronies. I have been a part of that meetup/social group for a little more than 10 years. During that time, Kevin introduced me to the Santa parade, which is in his hometown of Haverhill. Even though the parade is family-oriented, anyone of any age, religion, etc. can enjoy it.
12:00 p.m. is the perfect time to meet to find a parking spot and a space to watch the parade. If you arrive at 12:00 or earlier you can park in the Heavenly Donuts parking lot. We will meet inside the Heavenly Donuts. They not only have great donuts, but coffee as well to help you stay warm. After we meet inside, we will go outside to watch the parade. The parade starts at 1:00 pm, but we are meeting at 12:00 pm. Please be punctual. If you have any questions please DM me. As an added measure, I will post my Google Voice number in the comments on the day of the event. That way, if you are having trouble finding us, I will be able to direct you.
As always, please keep your RSVP up to date and properly communicate if you need to change it. And of please, actually RSVP if you plan on attending. This is important for mine and everyone else's safety.
I look forward to seeing you all.
Liability Waiver: I am a volunteer. You are responsible for your own safety and enjoyment. However, I do my best to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe within reason.
