Assabet River Walk
Details
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE RSVPING/ATTENDING
This is the monthly Asabet River Walk. The last walk was Halloween themed. Since the last week of November is Thanksgiving, most people will be away visiting family/loved ones. So, as a result, I have decided to schedule this Assabet river walk around the beginning of December instead of sometime in November.
We are meeting at the Visitor Center. As always, we are following Winterberry Way, Harry's Way, and Otter Alley Loop Trail. I choose this path because it is an easy trail for most people.
This event is weather permitting and will be postponed in the event of rain, sleet, blizzard, or extreme cold. Either way, I will let people know the morning of, around 9 am. This is incredibly important because I commute from South Boston.
Please follow the GPS provided on the event page. We are meeting at the visitor center off of Hudson Road and Winterberry Way. I have attached screenshots from Google maps of the exact location as well as Longitude/Lattitude coordinates in the photos of this meetup page. WE ARE NOT MEETING AT 2 KRISTEN LANE. If you are having trouble finding the destination, please DM me, but I will warn phone service is a little spotty. As an added measure I will send my Google voice number the day of the event to help those who are lost. I plan on arriving early before the event start time. Also, as always, I will wait 15 minutes minutes after the start time posted before going off on the walk. If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. We will depart at 12:45PM and not wait any longer than that. If you arrive later than 12:45 pm, you are free to catch up with us, but I will not stop the walk to wait for anyone.
Please keep your RSVPs up to date and use clear communication if you need to change your RSVP. And as always for mine and everyone else's safety, please actually RSVP if you want to attend.
With that being said, I look forward to seeing everyone there.
