Join Michiana Outdoors Women over 40 for a rejuvenating, challenging hillwalking experience at George Wilson Park in Mishawaka, IN.

Connect with nature, reduce stress, and boost your overall well-being as you summit and descend one or more hills. This event is perfect for those looking to check their leg strength and physical health in a peaceful outdoor setting.

After the hill climbing challenge, feel free to mingle with other members who share a passion for outdoor adventures. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned hiker, this event promises fun times and a refreshing change from our normal hiking activities. Let's see how many hills we can climb and descend. Each member is on their own... do as many hills as you can comfortably do, or do just one... it's up to you.

This is an excellent test for those MOW members joining us in Minnesota at the end of the month, but all are welcome.

The hills at George Wilson Park are bigger and more vertical than those on Potato Creek's trails one and two. And, there are more of them... they're all grass... no real trails here. You can summit at the steepest point or choose an easier route up the hill. This should be challenging and fun!

The park features 54.3 acres of rolling hills, lush tall trees, picnic tables, and scenic views of Mishawaka and South Bend, as well as a porta-pot.

The entrance is on Clover Road on the east side of the park. The guard shack is on the east side of the park and you can see it from Dragoon Trail.

There is an amazing frisbee golf course here, but MOW won't be doing that today. **Make sure when you pull up to the guard shack that you tell** **the guard that you're just here to hike the hills.** **There is no fee to "just** **walk"**. The park closes at 8 p.m.

\*You must wear your emergency contact ID on the outside of your person and water is strongly recommended. Shoes with good toe room are recommended for the down hills.
