Dinner Meeting at The Fledge

Details

Hello Everyone,
Mark your calendar for the upcoming MMAH Meeting at a new venue called The Fledge (a start-up business and community development center), located at 1300 Eureka Street, Lansing Michigan (MAP).

More about The Fledge for newcomers:

  1. Testimonial: Jerry Norris - CEO and Founder, The Fledge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cShUK8uPq9I&t=11s (3:27) July 7, 2023 [Capital Area Transportation Authority]

  4. The Fledge Beliefs and Values: https://thefledge.com/beliefs-and-values/

Attached herewith is a picture of the building that shows a 9-step concrete stair leading from the sidewalk up to the landing at the doorway. Not clearly shown on the side of the building is an access ramp that also leads up to the landing. (First timers are advised to arrive early to find street parking or nearby parking lot)

Since The Fledge does not serve food, we have the option of first having dinner and socializing in the Kung Fu Restaurant, located at 730 N Clippert St., Lansing, Michigan (MAP) starting at 5:00 PM before heading over to The Fledge at 6:15 PM for the program part of the Meeting that will start at 6:30 PM.

If you plan on joining us for dinner at the restaurant, please be familiar with the extensive online (Menu) beforehand so you will be ready to order upon your arrival around 5:00 PM.

RSVP is appreciated even if you decide to forgo eating at the restaurant and opt to only attend the program part of the Meeting at The Fledge.
We thank you for your attendance that sustains the continual existence of MMAH, as many freethought groups across the state no longer exist following the COVID Pandemic.

(Stay tuned for details of main program to soon follow)

In the prelude to the main program will be time for announcements, introduction of new members, and an opportunity for attendees to share their thoughts on any subject - such as latest political news headlines, or recommendation on a book, a movie, a restaurant, etc.

“Atheism is more than just the knowledge that gods do not exist, and that religion is either a mistake or a fraud. Atheism is an attitude, a frame of mind that looks at the world objectively, fearlessly, always trying to understand all things as a part of nature.”
