9:00AM START. BE ON TIME. BRING $10 PARKING FEE TO SUPPORT FOREST RESTORATION.

PARKING
Park at DAY USE PARKING LOT PAST THE VISITOR CENTER LOT- (GPS location)- also starting point. We will assemble and start at the parking lot. Follow the GPS pin under location.

DETAILS
~10-mile loop trail near Pescadero, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 30 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The first ~2.5 miles we will ascend ~800ft. Next ~2.5miles we will ascend another ~200ft. We will then descend the rest of the way back down to cars last 5 miles. Total ~10miles with ~1,700ft of elevation gain. Trail is about 3/5 shaded. May be some mosquitos in some parts- so bring bug repellent if they would bother you. It will be nice and sunny in the low 60s high with cooler temps at start- so pls bring your layers, hats, sunscreen, water.
