Hello!

Join us on this scenic 9-10 +/- mile out and back trail of a beautiful section of the Cumberland Trail.
This hike is rated moderate for the rugged terrain and distance and it traverses the Soddy Creek portion of the Cumberland Trail.
We'll hike about 4-5 miles to the Sluder Road trailhead, eat lunch, then return the same way.
This section does not have the elevation gain we're used to, about 600' +\\-
is all, so this hike isn't very steep.
Hike will start @ 10:00 AM EASTERN

Should be a rather simple yet beautiful hike thru the woods.
I say simple, but this hike has some really, really awesome boulders.
Wouldn't expect much from the creek however as I'm pretty sure it'll be dried up.

Expect lots of rocks, boulders, unstable footing, possible wet and slimy areas, roots some areas that go up and down hills.
Bring PLENTY of water, sturdy shoes, trekkjng poles, etc.
We'll eat lunch on the trail so bring lunch/snacks.
